Benjamin and Paula are internationally acclaimed classical singers with a wealth of experience in the choral and opera world. They are also experienced singing teachers, and mainly work with professional opera singers and choral musicians, as well as students applying to Music College programmes.
Benjamin was a Choral Scholar at King's College, Cambridge, and a Vocal and Opera Student at the Royal College of Music, London. Paula is also a graduate of the Royal College of Music Opera School, where she won the Tagore Gold Medal, presented to her by King Charles III. Both Benjamin and Paula have won prizes in international singing competitions, and have an exceptionally high level of stage and concert experience.
As singing teachers, they have a scientific understanding of the voice, (Paula has worked for the NHS Voice Clinic, and they have both attended courses on Vocal Health), as well as a psychological understanding (Benjamin is a Child Psychotherapist in training). Benjamin teaches the choristers at Temple Church, London, and Paula and Ben both teach the choristers at St Albans Cathedral.
Paula has sung many operatic roles and is hugely acclaimed for her vocal and dramatic talents. Benjamin is particularly acclaimed for his interpretation of the Baroque repertoire, and also has a thorough understanding of the multitudinous challenges of choral singing.
Whether you are an amateur looking for more consistency, or a professional looking to achieve the highest technical standards, Benjamin and Paula look forward to hearing from you.
